Important Black Buffalo National Enduro Information
BLACK BUFFALO NATIONAL ENDURO
With us being almost a week away from the Black Buffalo National Enduro, Round 3 of the Magna1 AMA National Enduro Series Presented by Moose Racing, here are some details on the event.
$20 weekend camping/gate fee for all adults. $10 for ages 12 and under with children under 5 being free. For non-campers, daily pass will be $15. The camping area is perched up on top of the mountain with plenty of room for all types of campers, from Class A motorhomes to hammocks. Along with bordering the Buffalo National river and nearby Sweden Creek Falls. The Ranch is a breathtaking, private playground with over 3500 acres of waterfalls, amazing views, and beautiful overlooks. Detailed hiking trails will be marked to nearby points of interest for you to explore while you are there. Mountain bikes and E-MTB are encouraged for even more stunning exploration of the Ozark Mountains. There is also a catch and release pond in camp for the children only to utilize. If you are coming to simply register only on Saturday, there is a secondary parking area available to come in for free to register and leave for your hotel or lodging off site. You will then need to pay the $15 daily gate fee when you arrive on Sunday.
The layout of Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch allows spectators to view multiple tests within easy walking distance, with one test bringing the riders right through the middle of camp for everyone to see! Gas availables will be at camp, so no need for multiple cans. However, there will also be remote rider support after tests 2 and 4, just down the road and once again allowing great spectator views while checkin in on your favorite riders!
There will be multiple food vendors onsite serving breakfast, lunch and dinner starting Friday afternoon. These vendor will not disappoint.
OTHER SATURDAY EVENTS FOR THE BLACK BUFFALO NATIONAL ENDURO
NEPG YOUTH CHALLENGE RACERS
The Black Buffalo National Enduro will host as the First Round of the 2023 NEPG Youth Challenge Presented by Wiseco. The Youth Challenge will be for young racers on 50cc, 65cc, 85cc, super minis and other youth small wheel motorcycles. This race will take place on Saturday April 22nd and they will run a shortened version of a National Enduro style event. The 50cc and Trail Beginner classes will run a laps style race.
FORMAT
$30 Entry Fee; AMA Membership are required.
Live Timing, No Transponder required.
Online Pre Registration. Riders can pick up their numbers at the NEPG Rig Saturday Morning 9:30am-10:30am
Riders Meeting at 10:30am.
50cc classes will start the racing at 11am for a laps style race on an approximately 1-mile course for 30mins.
Class 1 6 and under (50cc)
Class 2 7-8 (50 CC/60cc4t)
Class 3 7-8 Trail Beginner
Restart Enduro Format with 18mph/average. 4 Sections will be ridden, they may ride a section multiple times.
Key Time at Noon.
Class 4 7-11 (65 CC/110cc4t)
Class 5 9-13 (85 CC/150cc4t)
Class 6 15 and Under Super Mini (19”F and 16”R is maximum wheel size)
Class 7 Women any age (Super Mini 19”F and 16”R maximum wheel size or smaller)
Each round the goal will be to have each section come to the designated rider support area. There may be a case where riders will ride 2 sections before coming to rider support area.
Tests will be between 2-5 miles.
Riders will receive a route sheet for reference, check workers/NEPG will be assisting kids to start sections with the correct minute.

E BALANCE BIKE RACING PRESENTED BY KTM
KTM will be hosting an E Balance (Stacyc) bike race on Saturday evening at 5pm. Youngters will need their own bike and helmet. Any brand or size youth E-Balance bike is welcome. This is completely free event. They will have a small course set up and ran by the folks at KTM and the kids will have a chance to ride in multiple motos. The track remains open after racing is complete for the kids to enjoy as their parents allow. Sign up will be at the event for the E Balance Bike Race.
