Round 1 of the NEPG Youth Challenge Presented By Wiseco
Round 1 of 4 NEPG Youth Challenge presented by Wiseco Performance kicks off on April 22nd at the Black Buffalo National Enduro. The Youth Challenge is geared towards getting youth riders into the sport of Enduro Racing. From 50cc up to Super Mini and everything in between will have a chance to ride some of the same course as the pros like Grant Baylor, Josh Toth, Stew Baylor, Craig Delong, Ricky Russell and more. They will also have a chance to ride a Youth Event Restart Enduro Format just like the pros in the National Enduro Series. The series will be a 4 round count the 3 best where riders will be fighting for the National Enduro Championship in their respective classes. At the final round in Alabama for the Gobbler Getter National Enduro, national awards will be presented after the racing is concluded.
ROUND 1- Black Buffalo National Enduro- Kingston, AR April 22
ROUND 2- Dragons Back National Enduro- Arrington, VA May 13
ROUND 3- Cherokee National Enduro- Greensboro, GA June 10
ROUND 4- Gobbler Getter National Enduro- Maplesville, AL October 28
FORMAT
$30 Entry Fee; AMA Membership are required.
Live Timing, No Transponder required.
Online Pre Registration. Riders can pick up their numbers at the NEPG Rig Saturday Morning 9:30am-10:30am
Riders Meeting at 10:30am.
50cc classes will start the racing at 11am for a laps style race on an approximately 1-mile course for 30mins.
Class 1 6 and under (50cc)
Class 2 7-8 (50 CC/60cc4t)
Restart Enduro Format with 18mph/average. 4 Sections will be ridden, they may ride a section multiple times.
Key Time at Noon.
Class 3 7-11 (65 CC/110cc4t)
Class 4 9-13 (85 CC/150cc4t)
Class 5 15 and Under Super Mini (19”F and 16”R is maximum wheel size)
Class 6 Women any age (Super Mini 19”F and 16”R maximum wheel size or smaller)
Each round the goal will be to have each section come to the designated rider support area. There may be a case where riders will ride 2 sections before coming to rider support area.
Tests will be between 2-5 miles.
Riders will receive a route sheet for reference, check workers/NEPG will be assisting kids to start sections with the correct minute.
